We've set up our own scheme to recycle juice and other paper-based cartons (eg Tetra-Pak™) which the council currently doesn't collect.
Rinse out and flatten your cartons and leave them in the yellow bin outside number 62. We're just interested in the cartons: they shouldn't be in any other bag, wrapper or container.
Our rota of willing volunteers will empty the bin regularly and take the cartons to the recycling points behind Cowley Road Tesco and at Redbridge.
Please don't put any other waste into the yellow bin as our volunteers would have to sift it out later.
If you'd like to join the rota - which means a trip to the recycling point once every couple of months - please e-mail us.
